The day of Alayna's birthday, I took some pictures of pretty much every body but myself.(Savana) Here are some pictures...

This is Emaline. She loves to take her baby almost everywhere we go! She will be a very good mommy!

Bo, thinking about airplanes, I'm sure. That is his newest thing, because recently an Exede customer's friend, took him in his little private plane for the first time. He was absolutely fascinated!!!

Bells' Visit.

The day before Alayna's birthday, Lola, Will, and Elizabeth, came over. (They are Mama's step mother, and her two children.) They weren't going to be able to come the next day, so we just celebrated the day before. We actually had three celebrations,one with the Bells,(the 21st.) a private one,(the 22nd.) and one with our grandparents.(the 23rd!)  All three were a blessing, and we had a very nice time.

Sweet little Emaline- See the bandage on her hand?  She got a bad burn from ironing, one of her favorite pastimes.  And, do you see the little spot on the left corner of her mouth? That's where she landed when she fell out of a hammock the morning that she got burned by the iron.  She got a big bruise on her leg, too, from the hammock incident.  But, thankfully, accidents like these are fairly rare for her, and she bounced right back into her sweet disposition quickly. We are putting a very excellent herbal salve on the burn on her hand, called Relief Salve, made out of the purest ingredients. (I'm looking for a link so you can get some, too!) Her hand is looking much better now.

Alayna's Birthday!

Yesterday was Alayna's 19th birthday! We had a special breakfast, and Alayna opened her gift basket. She got a book about canning, rose petal tea, and a few cards. After that, we, (all but Mama) went up to visit the horses!  Here are a few photos...

  She actually galloped bare back, but my camera doesn't do well with a lot of movement, so I couldn't get anything but a blur.

After we went to the horses, we came back and ate lunch. Apparently, Mama had stayed home and put together a treasure hunt for Alayna!  We had a very nice time hunting for the treasure.Here are some photos:

The first clue was taped on a balloon that was hanging as a decoration in the kitchen.

She found the clue that was on Kep, and it directed her to this one. (It was under the pink streamer.)

On the way again.

Do you see the clue inside the balloon? Bo had given Alayna a Snap Arrow Toy on the way, so that when she found the balloon, she could shoot it, and get the clue out.

Shooting the balloon... That clue told us to take a swim in the lake.

So we did!!!

Russell really enjoyed his time in the water!

The next clue told Alayna to go wash the lunch dishes. She found the next clue in a jar with a lid. It led us to the treasure..... A kindle reader!!! It was Mamaw and Bompa's present to her.(Our grand parents.)  She has already been using it quite a bit.

Russelly...

 Today, I took Russell out and took a few pictures of him. Sometimes I had to coax him by letting him take a picture after I  did. Anyway, here are a few of my favorites...

The sun was rather bright and since he was looking up he squinted quite a bit.

A slight breeze came up which gave a nice effect.

The bell  rang for supper as I was pulling him on the wagon, so he was looking behind telling me "bell, bell!" He says every thing twice nowadays. 

                                      He is such a blessing to us and very photogenic!

Bo asked me if I was ever going to post on the blog about their exede business, I told him "this was a family blog and not a business blog, but it would be fine to post a picture of him, with the exede dish for it!" He is the dish assembler for Daddy and Evan.    We appreciate our brothers!
