A few day ago, at family worship, Daddy mentioned that he wished the hymn, "We'll work till Jesus comes," had more verses. He told us (the children) that we should all write a verse, and whoever had the best one, he would give them a treat! So the next day, we all fell about writing them. The older ones helping the little ones. Here are the verses:
Justice:
When we will go to be with Jesus,
We will praise him so,
We'll seek him here and every where,
Till heav'n we all will go.
William:
We'll go with Him were er'e he goes,
Thru storm or sunshine bright,
He is our savior why not follow?
He's the living light.
Lily Ann:
O I long to see Jesus soon,
No more the world to brave,
I'll hope and trust and wait the day,
When I'll be gathered home.
Bo:
Now place the breastplate on your chest,
And fight the battle on,
You must fight stoutly unto death,
Or til He takes you home.
Savana:
While we on earth are waiting for,
Our Lord to take us home,
We'll spread the gospel every where,
And pray that sinners come.
I lost Farrah's verse, Sorry!
Evan was at work so He didn't write one.
Alayna:
O Lamb of God in Thee I trust,
For Thou Hast rescued me,
And work for Thee I always must,
To lead more men to Thee.

Daddy couldn't decide which was the best, so he gave the treat to everybody!
It was ice cream that we ate at church, right before one of the revival meetings started.
