148/365 {{{Happy Birthday Farrah!}}}

For Farrah's birthday yesterday, we went canoeing down the Rainbow river! The five oldest and Daddy participated, although I know the younger ones would have loved to. Maybe that will be another day... This first picture makes the river look dark... but it's actually very clear!

We stopped and ate our lunch under a big overhanging tree... It was perfect!

The wildlife was beautiful... A hawk flew over and landed on the limb just over Daddy's head, with it's freshly caught frog! He stayed just long enough for Evan to snap a picture.

 We stopped briefly on the way in this shallower part, and swam. All these pictures were taken with Evan's phone {in a waterproof case=)} so that's why there's not tons of them!

On our way home, Mamaw treated us out to lunch at Roy's restaurant! {That's the corner of it to the left of us.} As you can see, it's right by the water, so we had very pretty scenery... Watching the pelicans and sea-gulls landing on the dock and fishing, was very entertaining!

Monday was our last day... A VERY full one too! First, we rented a boat and took a ride on the Gulf {no pictures from that...sorry!} then we went wading at Hagen's Cove, after that we packed up and came home for a big supper, and took a golf cart ride.  So we all slept well! Thank you Mamaw...

Anna-Frances helping transfer cookies from the pan to the cooling rack! Love her concentrated look=) She scooped them up, and SLUNG them on! They actually survived it because the ones she was allowed to do, were a bit over baked=) {In this photo, she missed the rack... Usually she got them on there=) Oh, and she did have Farrah helping her, but she just stepped out of the picture.
