On the Lord's Day, we went to my grandparents church, and the Joneses church. And then we went back with the Joneses to their house. We prepared a picnic supper, and headed out in the "Burb" {Suburban} to go hiking at Harrison/Crawford State Park. It was SO gorgeous! The trees were changing colors, the weather couldn't have been better, and the park bordered the Ohio river!

| We ate supper on a large boulder jutting out, which gave us an excellent view of the river. {So sorry I didn't remember to get a photo of the rock:(} |

| We walked along a very narrow path with a huge rock looming over us. Mama said it reminds her of one of the parts in Pilgrim's Progress... Me too! |

| After our hike, we climbed the 150 foot fire tower, {which was in the park} to watch the moon rise! We were also able to see the last moments of the sun setting too... |

| I had to use my flash to capture the moment up there. It got chilly, and the wind was blowing pretty hard, so we all hunkered down on the floor, until the moment when the............... |

Homeward Bound!

| On our way home, we all agreed that the trip was just the right length. We had a VERY blessed time with our grandparents, relatives, and friends, but it was time to go home, and we knew it. |

| My family was soooo glad to have us back! They were jumping up and down, and talking a mile a minute! |

From all I've heard and now looking at the many beautiful pictures it seem y'all had a fantastic time! I'm so glad you girls and your Dad were able to enjoy that special time together and on vacation! It would be great if y'all are all able to go next year...something excitin' to look forward too!
