Shortly after the dog attack on our farm, Daddy decided it would be a good idea for us Feldman womenfolk to be more practiced in the use of firearms. Alayna and I knew how to shoot the 22, but in the case of an emergency, we would need to know how to use the shotgun, so out we went to the back pasture with targets and guns to learn how to shoot!
Setting up the shooting range...
Doug Feldman's gun safety class!
|
Alayna shot first out of us girls (the oldest daughter is always the guinea pig) We didn't get a picture of her shooting the shotgun...only the 22.
Justice got to shoot too!
Lily Ann takes a shot!
Bo :)
Second shot
William wanted to try, but it didn't work too well with his arm.
Russel didn't get to shoot, but greatly enjoyed pretending that he did!
Our target was the orange internet sign
Evan...
Savana...
Mama did shoot, but we only got the loading picture.
Yours truly with the shotgun...

Dear Feldman Family,
ReplyDeleteI was so sorry to read about your recent dog attack. We can truly empathize with you as we have had it happen to us more than once. It is not only a costly loss, but very sad as well. Thank you for posting your trust in the Lord as He truly does work all things to the good of those who love Him and for His own glory. Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power and not only learn to be good marksmen with the firearms, but keep your full armor on that you may be able to stand your ground against any attacks. Love, Mrs. Jones
Dear Mrs. Jones,
DeleteThank you for the sweet comment and the good reminder. Truly "We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Eph. 6:12
Yes! Lets all "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour"
